wat's been happenin

shall just do an update on my life before i hit the books for the first time in 4 days. (yes i haven't studied a bit during the long weekend. =S )
things are pretty alright. the change is so much easier to cope than i had anticipated. i like my new cellgroup and its a whole new adventure with God that i should have had long ago. anyhow, all things in His time, some mistakes made in the past but i trust in God that my past will not hinder my future.
i had a great long weekend, the most enjoyable of which was SHOPPING.
i've deprived myself of indulging in one of my all time favourite hobby for a super long time and on sunday i totally went crazy (for my own standards) and spent $120 within 4 hours.
i bought two pairs of shoes, two tops and two belts. the "twin buys" (quoting joanne who is coincidentally a twin) are really just a coincidence but looking on a very spiritual side (HAHA, flakes falling off) the bible says TWO is better than ONE ( i know this is quoting out of context to the max!).
on deepavali when i was supposed to be studying, i totally slacked the day away and the most productive thing i did was to run 10km from home to east coast park. it was a great run because it helped elevate my mood on a gloomy day but sadly the run was done at the end of the day, meaning i'd already wasted 3rd of the day away anyway.
today is good. because i have a whole day free. class ended at 1030 and then i headed home and bought cheap lunch from army market. allowed myself to spend $2.50 on dessert (which is the price equivalent to my wanton guotiao lunch). i ate the famous sweetstoneparadise belgium chocolate waffle i've been craving for. sadly, i still haven't had my cha shao shao rou fan which i've been craving for since last tues i tink. =(
just finished watching two episodes of gossip girls and i must say, after watching it, i suddenly have many things to think about friendships and stuff albeit the very different context. i've been pretty confused in some of my friendships and in a weird way, sometimes, gossip girls put things into perspective. haha. okie i cannot linger here on cyberspace any longer. my books are waiting for me.
