good things are worth waiting for

so chaperon and i didn't go KL after all. if you haven't read Pastor Kong's blog, the trip is postponed because Sun was really sick last week and Pastor had to be with her at US. but praise God that she's discharged and recovering now! =) can't wait for may to come to go KL!
these few weeks were really taxing. i felt like almost every waking moment i'm like rationing my time to squeeze in all the different things i'm committed to. i literally felt very buried by everything. but thank God i survived last week and after today the bulk of my academic woes will be gone. can't wait for holidays to come!
last friday, i did 206 filming at little india then went back to school to do a little (really compared to wenhan i did very little. so sorry partner for not being able to avail myself more to helping with spectrum), editing till 11pm. so the men had the men united meeting and leng was VERY KIND to offer to send me and my friends out of school. subsequently had supper at the mac opp al ahmeen (however u spell it). talked to leng and he offered some very polar bearish and brotherly advice which kinda made me miss "the clique". haha. haven't been hanging out much nor watching movie much (much to the dismay of mr shy aka shirt tearing competition participant HAHA). can't wait to hang out more and teoheng with "the clique"!
leng said this to me "family is always the most important" when i was struggling to make a decision btw going somewhere and having dinner with my siblings. and he said it so seriously, that it made me realise how much i've neglected my family. they seem to always be the last on my list, the last people i see when i reach home at 2am, the last people to sms me asking me where i am and demanding i be home soon since its past 2am, the last people i'd inform about all the exciting things that go on in my life, the last people i'd call if i need company... and i figured if this goes on, i'd soon be the last person they'd look for in anything. and i don't want that to happen.
so i had a great dinner at werner's on saturday with my family. =) although we waited SOOOO long for sheena to get her new phone that i could have attended yuhao's manhunt victory and still made it for dinner, i didn't regret at all. because sometimes quality time does come through quantity time. although i spent 7pm-9pm whining together with lynn about how hungry we are, how long sheena was taking, it is these moments, moments where we can't take it anymore and shared some old chang kee that strengthens our family ties and gives us memories to look back to. you can't have memories if you are never there.
we talked to our future sister-in-law about the upcoming wedding and their honeymoon. i just feel very happy for my brother and his fiancee, having seen them come such a long way. if you don't already know, i must boast about my awesome brother. he proposed to her under the Effiel Tower!! like how ideal and romantic is that man!! and the rock is huge, or so, many people have said. haha. i can't wait for the wedding in jan 2010!! =D
if you're attached and waiting for ur bf to propose (i know of someone like that but i doubt u read the blog, maybe i shld get you to read it, hee), pls refer to my title.
if you're single and waiting to get attached ( i know of many someones like that), pls refer to my title.
so to sum it all, relationships takes time to build and somethings grow better, after you wait it out. i'm in no hurry to get attached or hooked up or whatever, and given my current schedule i have no time to do that either. but i trust that God will provide and in His time, all things will turn out beautiful, in my family, in my work, in my ministries, in my finances, in my relationships, and in my future. =)
