goodness. its 5.15 am. and yes i'm still awake. this is really bad for my body. averaging at 5 hours of sleep a day this week, i'm amazed at how i still have energy to be up now. to some 5 hrs is alrdy luxury, but fact is, its quite damaging. it means you're up and using energy 19 hours a day!
leila is in UK. work @ MICA just got intensive. from next week till 13 july, i'd be working like full day from early morning till late night, overnight for a few days too and also on weekends! i'm quite excited abt what i'm gonna be doing, but just hope some of my evenings would be spared for me to do what is on the top of my heart.
pls feel free to text me anytime/as many times next week to spur me on and give me some boost in the spirit. i'd need that! =)
iWorship totally blew me away. Thank God for Poh. He's imparted so much to me over the two sessions in terms of how we should be maximising and investing in our talents for God and others. Poh is really a very humble person. and i hope that one day, when i grow older and become proficient in whatever skills i have, that i would be able to inspire others like he does, and still remaining humble. he mentioned about pride and being familiar with God. personally, i feel, being in the stage ministry/"face on big screens, voice on loud mics" ministry, alot of us have to deal with pride and thinking we're better than others. this is not a huge issue to me, cos i'm by nature really a person with a very low self-esteem. and i thank God for His rhema,
Zech 4:6, which i live by, esp when i feel i'm inadequate to be doing what i'm given to do. i guess, we just all have to come to a point of realization that, no matter how able or talented we are, without God, without the anointing, without the presence, we really can just be a pretty face or a set of good vocals but yet without substance and having no impact. we end up serving only ourselves and not God nor His people.
it all goes back to SOS. to let God's desire be our desire, instead of imposing our desire on God. Matt6:33. (on a side note, i urge you to read Matt 6 in the MSG version).
trusting and believing that all things will work out for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purposes. with God, we'll make it work out better than had we done it ourselves. two are better than one. a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
