had a powerpacked youth mtg with LEI zone yday. privileged to be the one planning it so that other leaders could rest. much as i was killing myself by sleeping only 3-4hrs a day almost everyday last wk, i enjoyed myself fully and discovered new things abt myself thru this tough but rewarding experience.
just let me brag a bit abt the mtg. HAHA. we had a full praise and worship band: 2 guitars+cajon (drums)+keys, dancers coming out during praise, running annoucements before svc, very pro announcements slides, great hosts for games, powerful preaching and very pro slides to go along. it was pretty much a service. and we packed the first part of the partitioned room of the RW Audi!
i'm most impacted by the fact that we're a zone with young people all below 23yrs old.
by not despising our youth like Paul told Timothy, it really is like what i saw this wk. people who look at what they have and think "i'm not a good dancer" "i don't know if i can make it" but yet still not despising what they have and using it, working at it to be an example to other believers. happy to see young people being free to live their dreams. (:
many ppl are back frm their long grad trips! mic is back from eastern europe, kah and pits are back from USA. kah is away at taiwan again though. and pits' leaving for perth soon. these ppl make me feel like travelling too! two more wks of internship and i get my two months holidays!!! can't wait man! i pray somebody sponsor me go the mission trip that i desire to go. or i hope somehow i can go overseas for a short break. God make a way...
this post is turning out to be me just sprouting out the thots in my head, if i move on, it'd be boring and the length would be more atrocious than it alrdy is.
shall end with a dream come true pic. many dreams came true for me this wk. one of it is owning a BASEBALL JERSEY! for 7 long yrs, i've been wishing i get a baseball jersey for either birthday or christmas. thru the yrs a few individuals did say they'd get it for me blah blah, but somehow nobody ever did. so here's a great mega shoutout with much love to kah: thanks for the YANKEEs jersey and risking your life despite the murderer lurking in the streets near the stadium to get it. we'll talk politics over coffee again when you're back. (:
